In 1999, a UK software company with a Construction
CRM product, targeting Sales professionals in the UK Building
and Construction industry, short listed and then selected
Ekomate as its development partner. Ekomate started working
with this client on the maintenance and development enhancements
of the client server based product, which was based on Borland
Delphi with Sybase as the backend.
This relationship has continued and developed
to today, with Ekomate working on a range of different products
for the same client. The past years have also seen their launch
of a web based product, using the latest .NET technologies
from Microsoft. In building up this web based project, Ekomate
has successfully completed over 40 separate modules of development.
There are now dedicated and separate Ekomate resource teams
providing this client both IT development and BPO data research
projects.
In summary, by working with Ekomate for more than 8 years,
this client has achieved significant advantages including:
having extended development and operational resources, plus
lower costs to develop and launch new products and services.
Overall this has been a tremendously competitive advantage
and importantly it has made ‘borderline’ projects
viable and therefore they have cost effectively been able
to be added to the clients portfolio of services to their
customers. Thus assisting both customer retention and increased
sales to these existing customers, in addition to winning
new business
